AMT SS-30 JFET Preamp, Reverberry Digital Reverb to Tube Cake 3W JFET power amp feeding an Achillies Amps 2x12 speaker cab (C30's).
There are two sister videos featuring:
1. features this rig going to a Laney VC50's power amp and speaker cab - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6Jv2Iieg1E
2. features a session routed to the soundcard with the same rig as this (minus the Tube Cake). It can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ck0bqbutkM
The guitar is a Charvel Custom Shop San Dimas Koa, built for the Music Zoo in NYC in 2010. Pickups are Seymour Duncan Custom and 59 Neck.
Really smooth sounding preamp with some punch. I think I like it more than the ss20 demo's I have watched. Unfortunately there are none in my area to try with my classic 30

much better than anything on the market right now, reminds me of a peavey rockmaster and a sweeped eq rack

@TheSpoonwood yep, tube cake powers the cab/speakers. It's a little power amp. It sounds really nice here! Can't wait to try it myself!

So you can run a guitar cable to the Tube Cake's input, and a speaker cable from the Tube Cake's output? Wild.

Is this SS 30 a new prototype model? Because I cant even find a mention of it on the website. It sounds great

LOL this one with tubecake & celestion sounds much better (and metal) than Laney & Greenbacks (at least for me).
