Rock Chic & Fangbangers - Fashion Week After Party

The Michelangelo Towers Mall and FTV Sandton present a new show to kick off the 2010 fever with collections to be shown at Audi Fashion week by two of South Africa's innovative designers:

Craig Port and Errol Arrendz followed by an after party at FTV Sandton

"Fangbangers" is inspired by the universal obsession and Port's own fascination with vampires, the will to be accepted and to be different in society and the quest for eternal youth. The theme translates strongly into his winter collection using dark colours such as various shades of black and the rich tones of violet and red. The collection boasts exciting new winter silhouettes that are embellished, studded and trimmed with hints of fake fur.

Taking a futuristic approach, the winter collection from Port once again proves superior. The range is combination of much tailored garments; knitwear; three-piece suits; trenchcoats; embossed hoodys; tracksuit pants; and the use of new necklines; updated silhouettes; and his use of chunky zips and leather trim.

Embodied in every shade of black and rich jewel tones the Port "Voorsprung" collection is world class, tactile and comfortable with heavy weight cottons and plush velvets that caress and connect with your inner self.

Rock Chic bling with attitude. . . captioned "Love sucks" young and playful, specialising in the little dress, thigh skimming mini plus big shoe. This is under the Errol Arendz Cape Town label

DuSud label. . . here Errol piles on the glamour, the return of devil may care attitude, she is a smouldering siren who casts her spell, we have a great coat and knitwear story here. This is captioned "Glammed and Bedamned" Errol Arendz Studio, which is couture. This look is captioned "Kiss of the Spiderwomen" extreme shapes.
