He was just a camera man, don't blame him..He didn't realize that Jaco was that kind of incredible genius...in fact when Jaco introduced himself with a CD, even Josef Zawinul thought Jaco was playing plain acoustic Bass, and asked him if he could play electric bass in the same manner...so that was an introduction to fretless bass..the way Jaco wanted it...that's precisely how Weather Report became what they were

When someone is playing a solo, especially something groundbreaking and spectacular...you shoot him playing it...it was Jacos moment.....You dont take a longer pic of everyone else when its going on....You guys that defend this just dont get it.....

and honestly i see no problem with it, totally fair distribution of shots between everyone in the band
