Madonna interview 2006 nov part1

I don't understand how can anybody bash Madonna for adopting david. Malawi is just a fucked up place that I would think everybody would be glad. David's dad gave him up and didn'[t have nothing to do with him.

I don't have a problem with Madonna adopting a kid. I just think her and Angelina should be adopting children from their OWN country (USA). There are children here that are living in conditions just as deplorable. I've heard the US adoption laws are really complicated and that is a reason why, but Madonna's Malawi adoption was pretty complicated too. Just sayin.

Also...she said that her adoptive son David calls her 'ma ma', but that she doesn't call Guy Ritchie her husband by ANY name yet...hmmm....that seems odd to me. If Guy Ritchit was taking any interest in the child at all, he would be calling him 'Da da' by now. That poor child has no male role model...I'm sure Madonna loves him in her own way, but these two parents seem more interested in promoting their projects than bonding with their African son. sad.

She said she had a NANNY go and pick up her adoptive son David from the orphanage because she wanted to make her daughters birthday party?? You've got to be kidding me! I guess David will know who comes first going foward. Why couldn't she have brought her family with her to get David, or organize things better? I think the child would have liked to have his adoptive PARENTS pick him up.

You must understand that for madonna to go outside it is a major logistical event. Especially if she was picking him up. The security needed would be monstrous and the amount of paparazzi that would have been over her carrying David. even the Nanny could barely move at the aiport. Would you like to expose a young baby to that? You are so naive.
