Dr. James Leary, CTAHR Weed Scientist, returns to MA'O farms to examine how well native plants are working as groundcovers in an organic farming system. Naupaka (Scaevola taccada), nanea (Vigna marina), piligrass (Heteropogon contortus) and ahu awa (Cyperus javanicus) are used.
