It's been 9 years since the terrorist attacks of 9/11, I wanted to make a tribute video. What I did was select footage of the Towers from films to make a compilation. Thought y'all would like to see a video of them where they're not in flames for a change...

My inspiration came from the thought that I have never gotten to see these wonderful buildings in my life, except on film. I felt an emptiness and sadness when I visited New York in 2003 and looked up at the skyline and noticed something (and I really mean two things) missing.

Films used were "Gangs of New York", "Trading Places", "King Kong", "Spiderman", "Coming To America", "Guns N' Roses - Paradise City", "King Kong", "We're Back", "Man On Wire", "Limp Bizkit - Rollin", "City of New York Vs. Homer Simpson", "Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence", and "Home Alone 2".

The music used is a mash-up of "Allison At The Stoplight" and "John Rescued / Resolution". Both are reprisals of the "World Trade Center Theme", composed by Craig Armstong and found on the soundtrack of "World Trade Center".

I OWN NOTHING! Respect to all the makers/owners of the films and music used in this video. Without them, I couldn't put something like this together. Their works, now stand together as pieces of history. So please do not audioswap or delete!!!!

Thanks for watching everyone!
Remember the World Trade Center! Gone, but forever existed in our memories!

Please be careful of what you write in the comments. I do NOT wanna have to close off the comments because some people end up being disrespectful to each other. Oh and any 9/11 falser comments WILL be deleted as well!!!

  • THIS is how we need to remember the World Trade Center, NOT burning for 1 to 2 hours then collapsing. We owe it to all the victims of the towers to remember what they stood for, AMERICA, and the largest city in America, New York!!

  • Thank you Dan for this. This morning I was thinking about my parents who both died on 9/11 when I was 11 and how much I missed them. My sister also died in Iraq in 2006. Beautiful video, thank you.

  • @xClarityy .....im so sorry i hope u end up having the best life

  • It's so sad, in movies with the wtc they always edit it out. Even in tv shows like the Simpsons they edit all those old scenes out. :( great vid btw :)

  • the towers were built not to be destroyed and remembered only for a tragic day in history but as a symbol of order and progress

  • @xClarityy im so sorry, that makes me cry, may they r.i.p. there in gods hands and all 3 are watching over you, may they never be forgotten

  • Billions of people crying for the day of hell and deth, 9/11. No one need do die like this... People burn to deth. The biggest people took there lifes only to save other lifes. The firemen fight only to make the towers stands on the ground. I dont even understand that people joking about this!!! New york will always be the city that makes people happy. And why think about the bad things? Dont forget the good things about WTC. At 2013 its the new One WTC done. Thats a member of the day 9/11. WTC

  • Its sad just waching and thinking about what would had happen if this never happend it makes you think. Nice video I like the pics and the music :)

  • 8:46am and 9:03am on Tuesday September 11th 2001 were the worst moments in American history. The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center hit by hijacked civilian airliners. Just as horrific were 9:59am and 10:28am, the times when the two most spectacular buildings the world had ever seen were destroyed. R.I.P World Trade Center and all of the people in the buildings when they collapsed as well as the passengers and flight crews of American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 :'(

  • God, they're so beautiful, I truly miss them.
