I'm in denial. If Deftones is Illuminati or not Im not stopping. Their songs are full of metaphores/symbols. Everyone interprets lyrics & images differently. As long as their music dsnt talk of Satanism/praise anything in that direction/there's no backmasking/brainwashing techniques included, I'm fine. I've been a fan since I was literally 7. Too many artisist I love have turned. Hopefully not this one.

@blackshirts420 No, I have. They're not what you say they're about. Once you get mixed up in this Illuminati shit, it seems like it's everywhere. "Hexagram" for example is about a war that was going on back '03. None of their lyrics deal or are associated with Illuminati. You see, it's poisoned your mind. @TheDeftonesVault first of all its not "a baphomet".there is only one baphomet, (satan). I've been a fan of deftones since 99, love there music mostly the first 3 albums, but as cool as i used to think Chino was, i think hes a dumbass now.dude honestly I thought this guy loved satan before he got the baphomet tattoo..if you notice my earliest comments on this video were prior to chino getting the tattoo..not sure if you read the Bible, but read up on the anti christ in the book of Revelations

@blackshirts420 I do know what a Baphomet is. You think just because he has a tattoo of it, that makes him a Satanist? I've been a fan of the 'Tones for a long time & Chino is definitely not a satanist. An owl symbolizes many things. As I said in another comment that I sent to you, they chose the owl because they were influenced by Faith No More's "Angel Dust" record, which had an Egret on the cover. Someone showed them the picture of the owl & Chino thought it looked magical. Not satanists.

You think he wanted to get a tattoo of satan because it looks cool? wow, I hope his thought process is a bit deeper than that. to me its more of a salute. How about you google Baphomet and tell me what you find. Also Google "Bohemian Grove" and you can see why I am weirded out by the owl. Are you a freemason?

@blackshirts420 Haha, here's exact proof why Chino & the 'Tones use this type of imagery: “I have other religious tattoos as well. I like the art a lot. I’m really into religious art, but I don’t feel too strongly about any one religion. I just take it as it looks. It’s probably the only tattoo I’ve got that I really appreciate, and really like. I wanted a baphomet, and I had a guy draw it up the way I wanted it. He did it perfect, so it’s like, you know, something fun to look at.”

It makes you accuse everything of being associated with the Illuminati just researching the bullshit. By the way, Owls symbolize many different things.
