Great job Jason. You are a strong representative for Utah's interests on this issue. ANWR has become ridiculously politicized and Americans are suffering because of it. This issue is proof positive that Washingon is broken! Let's get it fixed and let's get some of these issues resolved for the benefit of the people!

I think we need to do both, increase domestic drilling and increase refining capacity. We need to also look at nuclear, natural gas, solar, wind, everything and anything to get away from sending $700 Billion overseas. We need to find our own energy and solutions and create American jobs in the process!

I think increasing refining capacity is MUCH more important than increasing the supply of raw material. According to OPEC there is a HUGE glut of crude oil in the marketplace currently. Although increasing domestic supply of oil will probably be important in the future, what is crucial NOW is ramping up REFINING CAPACITY by allowing interested parties to build new refineries.

It's good to see a candidate that has a vision of what it takes to make our nation independent of foreign oil. We need more of his kind in the congress (House and Senate) who are dedicated to meeting the needs of the people - not just their own pensions and benefits. Go, JASON!
Good Job Jason for going to Alaska to check it out before you have to vote on this.

It speaks well for Jason Chaffetz from Utah to actually go to Alaska before voting on using this resource or not. Good Job Jason!
