  • hey ,

did u mean the hard outer layer? cuz i sliced that off and dug out the meat/jelly on the inside. thats the part that i blended......

i guess that's what i've learned through our culture to be the good stuff.....for burns or irritations, for hair, even for drawing out a cold ... :-) .......

  • @21bahamas yea, the hard layer was what I was talking about. My hubby got me hip to all the uses for aloe :-)

  • great challenge. water as natural as you can get and very cheap

  • @PLUNSABUG37 True!! :-) But, water can't hold styles, that's why I I was focusing on styling products.

  • i'm excited to try this :-).......(i have an aloe plant.......i've recently started picking leaves from and blending and using directly after :-))) )

  • @21bahamas Funny you mentioned this. It was when I was in Nassau that I began using and experimenting with raw aloe. But I read somewhere that the actually leaves, the outside green part, does nothing though many beauty products simply use it as filler. You know anything about that?

  • Hey! OMG! I also use Moisture Milks and I whip my shea butter that I buy. What I use to moisturize my thin, long hair is aloe vera juice, EVOO, castor oil, and jojoba oil.

  • @SumKindaWndrful black tea is good for strengthening the hair and reducing some unnecessary shedding/breakage. It can also help with darkening the hair color. As for the company goes, I haven't launched it yet although it's been in the works for about a year now. I will be launching this month though (crossing fingers).

  • @SumKindaWndrful hey what should i use on my hair when i'm getting braids or while i have braids in my hair what should i do to keep my hair moisturized and help it to grow??
