To "eternalkp" I'd like to add that there are many game titles for MAC and the gaming on mac will probably grow allot in the futture ;)
Cod4, Sims3, assasins creed, Spore... Just to name a fiew...

But also remember that Mac's are special and always have quality parts and that they have made their OS especially for the parts that they offer. You can't really compare the hardware on a mac and PC and get a conclusion. The mac Works alot better and the price pays of in the end. The PC is cheaper but has more problems and the only reason to get one is if you'r a Gamer... then build a pc from scratch.

i940 CPU>just ok (2 for $2400, each is worth $560)
DDR3 1066mhz>slow (32gb for $6100, 6gb is $87)
ATI 4870>ok (apple charges $350, it actually costs $180)
apple>NO BLURAY movies, just silly 1080p movie trailers
apple>NO GAME TITLES
apple>NOT ENOUGH SOFTWARES
apple>NOT A FUN/ENTERTAINMENT PC
apple>Photoshop CS4 but only 32bits
OS X is a rip off Linux, so stop whining about how microsoft rip you off
