They are all real. I had the beta before they changed the music. The intro videos were created in-house with Apple's own final cut studio- specifically Motion for the animation.

Oh god, OS 8's intro was pretty darn bad. (IMO)

Reminded me of LSD: Dream Emulator in some places. (Go look that up)
