I love that picture by the way, heh. You have to know what you're doing if you intentionally throw in a full second and a half (that doesn't seem like much but it is in music) of silence in the middle of your remix. I also love the section that starts at 2:11. If you listen at 3:02 closely enough, you can hear that low octave that he throws into the repeat of the first section. It's little changes like that that add to the song that you don't catch the first time or two you listen to it, but once you know it's there, you can't unhear it. Also the "ticking" sound at 4:09 is the exact same tempo and sound as my blinker in my car, so EVERY time I hear this song in the car, I look down to see if my blinker's on when that part comes up, heh.
I love the Mother Brain fight in Super Metroid. Great, great final boss. The silence works to create DRAMATIC TENSIOOOON!, I think.

I love this song! The Metroid games feature some of the best video game music of all time imo. This was an excellent game, and a great song to remix; it preserves what was good about the original and adds to it. 5/5 in my book.
