Audi is working on a brand new S3 for launch in late 2012 and we've got a new video of a prototype for the upcoming hatchback version--a sedan is expected too--as it was running some test miles in the hot Californian sun.

  • @MsJannieD It's Audi who started it, and all the others copied

  • Is the S3 hatch coming to the US? If so, sign me up!

  • What a spy video :) It looks like audi released this video as if it was recorded by someone else :)

  • @Charlie135i 2.0 Turbo petrol, same as the one in the Golf GTI and current Audi's.

  • Look very closely at the headlight cut outs in the camo, it's an A6!!!

  • An awful lot of new vehicles seem to be getting this "gaping" front treatment....I like it!

  • Front end looks exactly like the new A1 - that's a gasoline engine for sure. Probably the 2.0T but Audi has a bunch of other engines they use in the market outside the USA. The A3 will come out way before the S3 (at least a year) - A3 is due for a complete overhaul, and this is it. Most likely will look like a larger A1.

  • Any sound expert want to guess which engine it has?

  • Dit is zo vals het is gewoon de Audi A3

  • @toledo64fx And if you had looked at a reply I made earlier on here you would know I know that and was joking. As I said I worked in the car industry, for many years in fact for Ford and Renault.
