This is Part 1 since youtube deleted the audio for the original so I reloaded this part. Unfortunately Take Me On was removed from my audio after 10 days. :(

Gina Lollobrigida was the first Italian diva to grab the Hollywood headlines. Exotically beautiful and talented, she sings her own aria here and later became a topnotch professional photographer and then a sculptor after giving up acting. Like Gina's multi-facted career, this video is a twist. This video is dedicated to Dina and Claudia. Dina is the biggest Gina fan I know and she pointed out Gina sings her own songs in The Most Beautiful Women in the World. Claudia convinced me to get it. Haha a Ha and the rest...is this video (and a bit of Ennio Morricone's Malena). Besides her aria, I used A Ha's Take Me On (classic 80s!) for the second half. I couldn't resist the rhythm of the song after watching Gina as Sheba and in Beautiful.

Showcased here is Gina in eight of her movies: Alina (sorry about the poor quality but that's what I brought on DVD :)),
The Most Beautiful Woman in the World (Beautiful but Dangerous), Beat the Devil, Fanfan la Tulipe, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Law, Solomon and Sheba, and Trapeze.

  • She is the quintessential italian actress of all time!

  • Gina Lollobrigida- o artista frumoasa.

  • stupenda

  • @GanjaGorgeous Gina Lollobrigida is not from Sicily :) She was born in Subiaco, close to Rome.

  • Purtroppo oggi non si trova tanta bellezza. Grandissima Gina!

  • @PathaJ Actually thats incorrect; you might have read the wrong line. Her voice was dubbed for the opera Pagliacci but this is the movie The Most Beautiful Woman in the World (or Beautiful But Dangerous) and the studio and the credits gives all singing to Gina. She sings her own songs in this movie.

  • @HAPPYTHELEAF I just checked Google and they wrote that Gina's singing was dubbed. I have never heard that she had a good singing voice but she didn't need it did she? Beautiful lady and many talents.

  • forms come and go and if you look at her now she looks like a wilted rose and never gets fresh up again...this is the world

  • questo è un video di grande sensibilità artistica.
