Gli eroi non muoiono, dicevano gli antichi, vengono rapiti in cielo al culmine della loro gloria, Marco Van Basten fortunatamente è vivo e vegeto, però qualcosa muore, la carriera di uno dei più grandi giocatori di ogni tempo è finita, troppo presto, qualcosa che si avvicina alla prematura scomparsa agonistica di Maradona, sotto di loro uno strapiombo e infine la spianata dove giocano i più bravi fra i comuni mortali.....

@massimovicenza If only he wasn't afraid of flying, he might have won CL's. Bergkamp was a different type of player than Marco. Marco was one of the best strikers ever, no doubt. Dennis was nr 10. And yes, I think he's more complete, because of his great passing. I'm not saying he's better.

Watch some Bergkamp clips, like vs Newcastle, Argentina, etc. Al of his goals were beautiful. Yes, English football is different, in my opinion better. It's more entertaining than Italian football. The English league is much tougher than the Italian one. It's the toughest league in the world. Bergkamp was underrated outside of England.
