I have never seen or heard Karma being used in a real world context by amateur or professional alike. It's a cool technology that feels so full of potential and possibility but nobody besides synth salesmen have made solid utility out of it. It's a widget. It's the two story entrance foyer. Makes you feel like you have arrived but once you buy the place you give it no further attention except to walk through it to get to the door because the door is something you actually can use.
This software might sell a lot to hobbyist users, not professional level. They might use it to inspire something from their works, not playing like Tyros or one-man-band style like that personally.
Sounds hella' good to me. So the way I see it the 'scenes" he refers to are like variations that you have on the Tyros right? where you var1, var2 and so forth? now the only question is how much is the doggie in the window? at least a couple of G's.
Following the dullard premise that Karma is "the most useless thing you can have on a professional keyboard", I assert that the fingers of a clearly unsuccessful-in-life carping idiot would instead be the most useless thing one could have. This is a 21st Century version of what Tangerine Dream started out with back in the 70's. I've not read anywhere that complex arpeggiation harmed their career.
