A SSM #6 IS a surface drive. Do you even know why those hoses are there? They are pretty commom, also on Arneson's. There are NO boxes other than what is built into the transon assy.

@Stretchmancando yea trimming way up freed the boat. but why didnt they back the trailer in more? after all a real boater would know that trimming too high and applying power will wear hard on the u joints

@emac012345 Lowering your drives in shallow waters is what got this thing stuck. They were raising the boat like a jack. When they were raised the drives it freed the boat to float. Get it?
