In our continuing investigation into the modern phenomenon of the New Age 2012 movement, Im going to interview John Major Jenkins to discuss his work in his book Maya Cosmogenisis 2012. Last month in Podcast #004 - The 2012 Meme, I interviewed Prof. John Hoopes, who refuted the majority of the 2012 movement. However, Hoopes separated Jenkins work apart from the others in the 2012 movement, challenging some of Jenkins positions, while supporting others and calling Jenkins to publish his findings academically. Here Jenkins roles up his academic sleeves and is provided the full opportunity to answer to Hoopes criticisms, as well as fire off some of his own attacks on the 2012 movement.
