Do Mormons believe everything Brigham Young said? Did Brigham Young claim that all his words were scripture? What is official doctrine in the LDS Church? All of these questions are answered in this video.

  • I don't recall Jesus submitting anything to anyone. Being God, it was therefore the word of God.

Indeed, Jesus was the lawgiver himself.

Brigham Young, on the other hand, NOT being God, did not operate the same way.

  • He's got a good point. It's pretty annoying when people who have never been Mormon, read any of our scripture, and have no knowledge of our beliefs try to tell us what we believe. I'm pretty sure I know what I believe. Well done. May God bless you.

  • I am so thankful for your videos, they are well done and truth bearing. I also am thankful to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints, in a time where the world in in shambles only to know my eternal salvation awaits me and my family. Thanks for these wonderful videos.

  • Our Father in Heaven truly loves us. He has made a way possible for all of His children to be saved from death and from sin. That way is the atonement of Jesus Christ.

  • Well done!

Well Jesus Christ was the authority on earth so he didn't have to. All prophets have had to battle with their own understanding while understanding the will of God. The Apostles constantly were questioning the Lord over doctrine, just as they do today. There were many misunderstandings made by early Apostles both in the days of Christ and in his restored church and Christ is around to help us all understand thanks to revelation to his contemporary prophet.

On Dec. 25, 1832, Joseph Smith prophesied of the American Civil War, which began in 1861.

As early as 1831 Smith also prophesied the Saints would flee to the West, to the Rocky Mountains, and there would flourish. This happened after his death when the Latter-day Saints were forced to leave by angry mobs in 1842.

Smith prophesied of he and his brothers' massacre in his personal journal, on June 22, 1844. This was just days before it occurred.

    The list goes on.

  • Quite the contrary; you're projecting again and you have yet to answer, in any realistic way, the BOM Plagiarization charges I PM'd you.
