did you notice a better performance on it? with the shorty headers?
-
where did you get these headers at?
-
Do you get a lot of drone in the cab? I worked with a guy that had shortys and it was unbearable inside the truck, he ended up taking them off. I was thinking of getting a set during my engine rebuild.
Thanks

@pearldrumsarecool longs sound throatier and have less restriction. Longs are better but usually require exhaust modifications where as shortys bolt right in
-
I've got a Flowmaster Super 40 on my 4.8L Chevy Silverado 2005 and I'm thinking about geting headers which is better longtubes or shortys?
-
Truck sounds great! I've got an 03 Silverado with almost the same setup, Flowmaster Super 10 Series, Volant Cold Air Intake, pacesetter shorties, airaid spacer.
Go Chevy!

dude that shit sounded way better in person ahah still badass though
-
Sounds good. Were the shorties hard to install? i was looking at getting some on my 99 silverado. Also, is there a noticable difference in the sound or performance?
-
nice and throaty its sounds just right not too loud or too quiet like I told u I'll prolly get those headers too
you need to have your rear differential regreased and retightened. not to point out problems just dont want to see such a badass truck go to waste.
