Hahaha! I LOVE the dance! My severe macaw says a lot of the same thing, but in a clearer voice. He got all excited hearing this and started saying "pretty bird" when you did. Cute!

Same thing with us. When we went to pick up our Blue Front Amazon, the former owner tearfully handed "him" over and told us it was really a female. So Cisco became Cissy! Your bird is adorable.
how old is she

He's about 20, according to the best estimate, but he already has slight cataracts, which could be either from age or poor nutrition, so we're not completely certain. We know he adores junk food, and he most likely was fed it frequently (we don't give it to him, but he knows what fast food bags look like and hollers), so the cataracts are probably from the latter.

What a wonderful bird. Is she a rescue? That is such a great way to find a loving bird that needs a loving home. Good for you...and Sasha!

We just found out that "she" is a "he"! Thankfully, Sasha is a boy's name, too. He is a rescued bird, and adding him to our family was one of the best decisions we've ever made. He's so wonderful and utterly brilliant, it's hard to believe he's as ours as a parrot can be, independent little chits that they are.
