Benjamin M. Rauhala is a New York-based music director and vocal coach. He has helped write, direct, and produce successful musicals and cabaret shows in New York, Boston, Pittsburgh, and Orlando. He coaches singers who are currently performing on Broadway in The Book of Mormon, The Addams Family, Mamma Mia, Mary Poppins, Jersey Boys, and Hair.
In May of 2011, Benjamin completed his master's degree in Orchestral Conducting at the University of Central Florida, where he served as a staff accompanist, and assistant conductor of their symphony orchestra.
He has arranged and accompanied for Trevor McQueen Eaton (Annie Get Your Gun), Lauren Kennedy (Spamalot), Alysha Umphress (American Idiot), and Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music), and was recently commissioned to arrange music for Lea Salonga, the Tony Award-winning star of Miss Saigon, which she will record this summer.
