Sure, baby shampoo won't kill them but it's definitely not recommended, regardless of how frequently one uses it. It's gentle -- for your eyes, but it's designed for human skin's pH, which is lower than a dog's and thus more acidic than shampoos designed specifically for dogs.

For once in awhile? Yes you can, and i'm pretty sure baby shampoo, like most dog shampoo's, dry out. Unless they are specifically formulated not to. My grandma has schnauzers and uses baby shampoo. They are perfectly fine and she bathes them TOO much. Depends on the dog.

My GSD loved baths too. He loved water in general: bathtubs, hoses, sprinklers, the pool, etc.

Is dandruff shampoo bad? Also, can I use dog shampoo on myself if I have really dry skin?

beautiful doggie! i have a tan and black GS who is AKC registered and am thinking of breeding her. She is 3 years old. Can you please send me a message and tell me the diffrence in the black shephards and mine? you dont mix them right> are they diffrent breeds?

No, the black GSDs are the same breed as your black and tan. Take a look at my other videos and you will see one of mine that is solid black. She is the grandmother of the dog in this video.
My GSDs happen to have very strong West German bloodlines in their pedigrees. All have their hips x-rayed and certified, plus they must have at least one formal obedience title, before I will breed them.
Good luck with yours...I'm happy to answer any questions.

Hi, first off that puppy is just adorable...and I just wanted to know if you had ever trained other kind of dogs to do competion work, like rottweilers, dobermans, boxers or malinois? or other lines of GSD?

Thank you...Stretch is a good boy. That is Johann (my super dog) in the background...he's Stretch's daddy.
I only own and compete with German Shepherds...but, I train all breeds. The working breeds and herding breeds are my favorites, though.
