A Tribute to September 11th, 2001

September 11th, 2006 marks the 5th year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City, and Pennsylvania. On that day half a decade ago, parents, spouses, children, friends, and neighbors were all ruthlessly incinerated and reduced to nothing but coughable chalk floating in the air with debris from the buildings. Never forget their needless deaths. Never forget that they died because a group of people around the world decided that they don't like how we as Americans choose to live. They struck those towers because they represent American society in a big, corporeal form. Business is the center of American life, free trade, and that's what the World Trade Center was about. Never forget that. Never forgot those who fight for your freedom, or those who don't fight for it, but fight in the name of your country in the name of your freedom. Don't forget the soldiers, and don't forget the innocent people who died on that day and have died since.

Never forget the firefighters and policement who died on that day, trying to save people who they did not even know.

Remember those who have fought in the past, and cherish their memory. Thank those who are fighting and will continue to fight in the future. God be with them, and with us all.

But when millions of people are starving homeless in darfour, when tousands have been kidnapped and killed by corrupt gouvernements & dictators in latin america, when orphans from civil wars across the globe, I find no fucking american doing a tribute video.

Une fois par an, je n'entends pas parler à la télé des 1 700 000 tués par Pol-Pot, des milliers de disparus/kidnappés/tués par des dictatures à travers le monde...

Tandis que dès que l'amérique vit un drame, c'est une souffrance mondiale.

C'est dommage que tout soit axé sur vous de cette manière, c'est une approche assez égoiste de s'ouvrir au monde.

On September 11, 2009. My family sat in my living room. My younger cousin did not know about 9/11. We talked to him about and he kind of understood. Then we watched a documentary on 9/11. My cousin, for the first time, felt sad for people he did not know. He relized that bad things happen. It was an eye opener for him...... May all who die R.I.P.
