I'm surprised to hear that gun sound effect at 1:08 again. Last time I heard it, it was in Syphon Filter 1-3 and a history channel reenactment.

@THEhorde117 Yeah, the books were awesome (I liked the first better), but I haven't read the comics. Also, a third novel was confirmed, but it's taking forever to come out.

@darkness007666 The Skedar tried to test the Cetan megaweapon on Earth, so they could see if it could destroy the Maian's planet so the Skedar would win the war.

@THEhorde117 In the original, which takes place in 2023 the Skedar promised dataDyne that if they got rid of the Maians, they would grant dataDyne all the alien weaponry they would need to be the most powerful company of all time, but of course, it was a lie. This game is a prequel, and takes place in 2020. The novels Perfect Dark: Initial Vector and Perfect Dark: Second Front spans the time between the two games, and Perfect Dark: Janus' Tears, a comic series, spans the time between the novels.
