I have got Fender's and Squier's and to be honest there is very little difference.
The main thing that I have noticed is that the Squiers are a bit lighter than the Fenders but soundwise they are almost identical.
I love 'em all!

@BigEvilLadia23 Dude, there is no plywood in Squier affinitys...yea maybe the electronics are not the best, but you can get one 10 times cheaper than the real deal...

I have a US fender Tele...and considering buying a Squier...cuz I was surprised at the quality when I tried one out at the music store. And only for 200 bucks!

I bet you in a blind sound test....95% of people/musicians wouldn't be able to tell the guitars apart. And that's all that matters. And if you change the stock pickups to some difference Dimarzio pickups of your choice on each...100% of the people wouldn't be able to tell them apart. The only real difference...the Fender will last longer.

USA Japanese and mexican there good guitar but Chinese fender guitar there not good quality guitar the body of fender china made from plywood there not solid body guitar and the electronic not good at all

The Fender sounds more clearer and twangy on clean sounds than the squier!!! but distorted and overdriven they sounds almost the same!!! some times I couldn't recognize any diference between them!!! the squier defends itself very damn well beside the fender!!! it would be a great buy for a small budget!!!
