@Machineghosts actually, aside from the fact that they consume more power and usually can have as high of a display rate, there is nothing wrong with old monitors.

You are comparing with LCDs, but yes! It has 0ms response rate, (usually) better coloration and darker blacks as well. The only technology that is comparable in flat screens are plasma, which don't fit on desks like that too well considering the minimum size for said technology.

I like this video because I have computer issues sometimes, and I am obsessed with information. But I find I get more stuff done around the house when my puter is broke lol. I like the "halo" effect to emphasise your Jesus look. Now get a haircut and shave that carpet off your chin, or grow the top part ya damn hippie!

@squirreljester2 Why should he if his current monitor works? Why fill up landfills? People are so wasteful. I am not one of those morons that buys "Green" but I don't like waste. But if you do have old monitors laying around, take the copper out. There is a long strand wrapped in electrical tape around the back part, and the windings around the CRT. Break the CRT back with a hammer but step back cause of the vaccum. Makes a cool sound.
