Agreed. This is one of the songs that I think Sinatra did and did well, but that another artist did with a more unique style. Durante's voice fits perfectly for this.

I like Frank Sinatra's version, but I think that Jimmy Durante sounds a lot more enthusiastic and young at heart while Frank sounds a little more business like.

God, I used to listen to Jimmy on the Radio and then on TV. What a loveable and wonderful guy he always was, and not a word of profanity coming from his mouth. Still, one of the funniest guys of his time.Young at Heart is probably one of my favorites, it describes his joyful outlook on life, always upbeat and positive in his approach to life. Jimmy, God bless that wonderful big Irish Heart of yours, rest in peace always, and "Good night Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are. "
