@NBSV1 Roush wouldn't offer a S/C kit with a warranty if they knew it would fall apart...tune it right and you wont have a problem. A bad tune on a motor with no mods at all will destroy it.

@ashtrey05 After having several 4.6 2v and 3v Mustangs on the chassis dyno at work I'd like to see one that could actually put down 625 on a stock motor and not have it blow apart in fairly short order. We had one single turbo 3v that was headed for over 400hp at the wheels before it blew a rod out of the block. Otherwise unless it's a 4v about 400 is all I've seen.

Yes, even the mighty Roush. If you think the big power Roush car is running a stock motor you're crazy.

@2012listo so, you are saying that the 4.6 3v engine built by ford is CRAP? hmm.. This engine with STOCK internals with the upgraded Roush S/C, and it'll do 625 HP (at wheels) all day with no problem. And it maintains the 36,000 mile/3 year warranty. Now, build up the engine some and it'll do over 950 rwhp with no issues. I have a built N/A 5.4 3v in my F150 that will do 0-60 in 5.2 seconds...again, a 6000 pound N/A truck doing over 150 mph. HAD NO ISSUES WITH RELIABILITY.
