A common sight while diving in Molokini Crater is the whitetip reef shark. While not much of a threat, they're still beautiful to watch and incredible to see for the first time. Pay special attention to the reef. It's magnificent!
Excellent! It may have been this one. I've recorded a few and when I compared the video, the markings were the same. This whitetip patrols the inner reef on a pretty consistent basis. I see him every couple of weeks or so. We park next to the Four Winds most of the time. Glad you got the opportunity to make it out!
how big do reef sharks get???

Whitetips (the kind in this video) can grow to 5-6 ft. This one is 3-4.
