@123winsor.I took the chute out and accessed the impeller from there.

vid sucks,, but the ol' gilson blows like a champ. is it a briggs, or a snow king tccy?

Sorry for the video, unfortunately we do not have many hours of daylight during the winter. I go to work at night and return at night. And it is so cold here in Minnesota that if I do not blow the snow quickly after she falls it'll freeze. I'll try to make a better video this winter.
All in all I hope the video illustrates the mod for somebody else that might want to try it.
The engine is a Briggs 8.0hp.
