Thanks for that. Think I got it. Thumb on A goes to G, Little finger does the same, and the riff is Eflat Enatural Eflat D C. That about right?

it's not the chord necessarily, it involves a hammer between the six and the five and another hammer between the one, two, and three while hitting the higher note with your pinky - elton does it all the time but with all sorts of chords and variations - it's really more about the rhythm of the notes than the notes themselves
