one of the biggest fans of the Colorado Avalanche and loved to see this moment now they are terrible :( but at least they won this with Roy, Sakic, Bourque and Forsberg. BEST TEAM EVER!!!!!!!!!

Joe Sakic's incredible play and amazing personality is really missed in hockey nowadays. He was the smartest player on the ice and knew how to create scoring opportunities. What he did in passing the Cup to Ray Bourque is something we will never see by other captain again. Joe the great, you are really really missed. Wish you all the happiness you deserve!!!

Im a die hard bruins fan and i must say i cheered for the avs like it was the bruins in the finals...i cried a little when ray hoisted the cup...it was amazing

I remember this game. My stepdad got my brothers,himself, and I tickets cuss at the time he was trying to bond with us. He purposed to my mom in game 3 of the series. She asked us to do this for her. We new that It was not just for her, after I cout my dad cheating with my wicked stepmother, I was the one to tell my mom. Now 8 years later I look at Jeff not as my stepdad, but as my dad.

Joe Sakic is the classiest guy to ever play the game! Being a Bruins fan & seeing him pass it to Ray & letting him hoist it first still gives me goosebumps watching it! He also wore #91 in the 2002 olympics so Yzerman could wear #19.

joe sakic is the man!! such a classy guy and he is a true captain!! what captain passes the cup without raising it first to a man who waited so long (bourque). Gonna miss Sakic!! thanks for posting!
