iPad car mount for 2006 Scion XB

Cheap solution for mounting your iPad in a older model Scion XB. This may work in other vehicles but I don't know. Good luck and enjoy.

PS - DO you know if the 06 iPod connection plays the iPad's audio output and controls it? I imagine not if you went AUX but thought I'd ask...

@danielskinner Thanks... no it didn't work with the iPod connection and I had to use a aux cable with a filter on it because I was getting a wine from the other electronics in the car.

If you get rear ended, wont that come off? Very good idea though. I think I'll try this but get 2 more book ends and weld them onto the first one, so that they hold the sides in. Thanks for the great idea!
