It's hardly obsolete. It's still a really great phone. If you're getting a phone just for video purposes, you should probably get an iPhone 4. It takes better video. But if you're buying a phone just for video, then you should probably just buy flip or something do that effect.

@meak911 I would say its far from horrible. I think its very nice. I would agree the iPhone 4 does do better HD video--but to say the HTC Evo is horrible is crazy.
