What a backwards muffler sounds like

The right glasspack was installed backwards causing to make a fluttering sound. I am posting this video because i had trouble finding out what was making the noise so i thought i would help anyone else that has this problem.


My 98 GMC. True dual with cats and glasspacks with 3 1/2 in. tips. 5.7L SBC 350 vortec
UPGRADES: Spectre high-flow cold air intake, Trans Dapt throttle body spacer, blue wire conduit.

Make a H pipe or even a X pipe to get rid of the popping

i did have the same problem and a shop installed mine i never knew what that sound was. Thats a damn shame for a shop business to do shit like that

Man holy sht my dodge dakota 4.7 litre makes the same exact same fluttering sound i mean identical i thought thats how ts supposed to be how can i fix this?

Too bad the fluttering wasn't a deeper sounding flutter, woulda sounded like u had stage 3 cams on it haha, what would that have done to ur performance to keep ur muffler on backwards like that?
