My story is similar to that of senderjaeger. This programme got me to DXing in 1985 (I first listened to them on 1179 kHz MW). How great is to hear George Wood again! Thanks!

Thanks for uploading this nostalgic clip! Sweden Calling DXers raised my interest in shortwave radio more than 25 years ago. It was an obligation for me to listen to it each tuesday.
