hmmm... I have had Elastik for a few years, along with a lot of other excellent soft-tools... it is only now that I have been more interested in looking into it. So, Elastik2 ... my (perhaps wrongful) idea with this bit of kit was that it was designed with live performance in mind... perhaps not as much as I thought? I am, of course, running this in Live.. I have a plethora of real time controllers, some of which might be better assigned to Elastik, than Live... suggestions?

Hi dgbray54,

you can also work live with it. Every controller in Elastik 2 can be assigned to a midi controller. To do this you have to load the player as plugin in your DAW.

How you assign them however is up to you.

I bought a set of your loops by mistake since I work with Acid Pro and WAV files. I tried to return the product but the retailer refused to return my money. Now I am stuck with your software and a whole bunch of loops that I cannot use. Is there a video that shows how to convert your plugs to WAV?

Hi,

with the latest version of Elastik (v 2.0.9) you can export the complete soundbank to wav with one click. Just open up the setup menu, select the soundbank and click on "export wav".

Thanks, yeah I managed to sort out the problem in the end, the samples would not drop on to the keys, so I restarted Logic, tried again and it worked! The balkan lines samples are absolute quality although rather pricey...

Hi,

Elastik 2 works as AU in Logic 9. You can load it as instrument in the channel strip.

Samples can be loaded via the browser to the keyboard area, from they can be triggered via MIDI.

When you load a sample to C1 for example, this sample will be triggered when the piano roll in logic plays C1.
