The 400 still looks modern and luxourious today. I have a Streetwise and it's ace. True drivers will know that Rovers drive better than most of the competition. A manufacturer we should be proud of. May the Rover brand return soon...

I have a soft spot for the Honda Vanden Plas series, especially the saloon version of this one. Space, Comfort, Elegance, Power, Safety. Apart from space, it beats the Mercedes C180 and BMW 318i in sheer HP in 1.6 auto form, more comfortable and safe. It has all the pros of owning a near luxury car without the cons of ruinous running,maintenance and repair cost. Only in 416 Sli automatic though with leather though...

Rover isn't coming back, all Rovers since the SD1 have been shit, they've just been either rebadged Hondas or cars that should have been badged as Austins or both.

I don't know exactly what it is. That's catalogued as the Nasa's Long Distance Factor, and 2.06 was the best class value, back in 1995.
