Mate, would you reccomend a damascus blade just for first time makers? I really want to get into this, but found a quite cheap damascus blade to start with, and want to work my way up to higher quality blades, like the blades Bernie makes. Anywars, would you reccomend damascus for bushcrafting?

im ordering the corian from northcoastknives tommorow. for the $5.50 does it come with one or two slabs. Also is the lanyard hole called tubing? thanks
