Bioluminescent Algae Glowing in the Waves

Algae lighting up the waves in Oceanside, California 9/26/11. When the concentration of certain algae is high near the shore the organisms give off a blue light.

Huh... it's red? It's not about higher algae concentration, it's when the organisms are motion disturbed. It should be blue though.
