I live in New Mexico and it's all Volcanic.
Every direction I look has a type of Volcanic feature and I live in the middle of a Lava Field.
New Mexico has no Seismic Activity now but it was once nearly all molten rock.
Be sure to visit Capulin Volcano National Monument.
One of the most perfect Cinder Cones in the world and the view from the top is beautiful.
