A bi-colored stamp in 1918 was run through the printing
press twice, once for each color. The famous C3a Jenny invert
was the result of at least one first run sheet being inverted for the 2nd press run. The C3s presented here are the result of
minor misalignments resulting in Jennys that are considered HIGH, LOW, SLOW, and FAST. I don't believe that these shifts can be considered to be errors.
