    debating what style is better is pointless it's all about the practitioner both boxing and aikido are effective. the winner is who executes his game better (eg bjj artist vs boxer if the boxer can stay off the ground he would win and visa versa)

    aikido is really effective against boxing. it can easily counter punches. but it still depends on the user. aikido relies on the technique and speed while boxing relies on speed and power.
