the bassist seems kinda distant in his playing, kinda lacks emotion.

Awesome! I would have never thought I'd actually like a Primus cover but y'all pulled it off. The singers voice lacks what makes Les so unmistakable unique, and with most covers that tends to bug me, but in your case the difference is not at all a bad thing! Congratulations. I'm a picky S.O.B. who usually finds fault with cover tunes but y'all have earned a spot in my favorites list and you've earned a slot in my regular listening rotation. ^5

Right on! The vocals are terrible but that's a damn good attempt at Golden Boy. The drummer is dead on, the guitarist came pretty close with Ler's solo. The bassist was pretty dead on. Didn't quite achieve the tone Les uses in the song, but pretty close. Very nice

Thanks we appreciate it.But i also think what makes The Brown Album a great record is the way it was recorded and how it sounds.I cant really explain why in technical terms i just know i like it lol
