Note: the used approach is real-time capable and not limited or spezialized to person tracking. Only the target position within the first frame is given to the algorithm.

For more information about the algorithm please read IROS 2010 submission "Adaptive Real-Time Video-Tracking for Arbitrary Objects".

This video sequence is part of "BoBot - Bonn Benchmark on Tracking" : http://www.iai.uni-bonn.de/~kleind/tracking/
Everyone can use it for its own evaluation.

  • Are you using OpenCV? or others?

  • @LittlePokeDigi

OpenCV is used for reading of images/video. Other libraries used are boost and openmp. We will publish source code shortly. Please visit my website in a few weeks.

  • Great work. Congratulations!!! Do u have an extension to multiple target tracking as well? Thanks for the link.

  • Thank you :) No, at the moment it is just for single targets.

  • @Dolaxlil But you have not!!!

  • Hello,

Awesome job!! Question for you though - are you taking the same size ROI for each particle and doing a comparison against the ground truth? E.g. comparing the histograms of the ground truth sized ROI for each particle against the ground truth ROI?

If so, how are you managing to keep real-time speeds, especially with ~2000 particles?

  • very good work :) I like it

  • @Dolaxlil Ok thanks. :p

  • Dear,

What are ground truth and algorithms estimate use for?

  • Ass Tracking!! ;P

  • So u're combining haar-like wavelet? particle filter and online-boosting with accumulation of weak classifier? do you have any good tutorial related with haar-like ? I'm quite good with the rest

  • great work @_@
