There are several whistles used in the piece - low D, high D, low G, low F, maybe low A as well. The main moving part was on a low G.

@BlackfolkAndPiano. I just felt the rolls wouldn't go with the style I wanted. The moving part is three separate tracks overlayed to try and mimic the sound of a fyfe band. The rolls would make it difficult to sync up the tracks and might make for a messier end result.
