@4205lr which version? i suppose the one with the extremely marked lead alto. in this case i think it was a bad idea...please note Tex is my hero.. the first solo i learned to play with tenor sax is the one we hear in "I know why"

this is the very interesting experiment Glenn made when Hal McIntyre lefs the band.Tex Beneke switched to alto and Babe Russin took the tenor chair.This didn't lasted for long,and i think it's the only Tex's alto solo we know..

u just cant beat the sound on these old victor and bluebirds !! scratchy or not its so pure and natural and the timbre of the instruments always comes through !! ok well maybe not on a crosley lol !! great sound mark as always im so #$@@!^&%% jealous lol jus kiddin good job tho really dig it
