it makes sense. I think Crona's gender was drawn to be a certain gender in the beginning of the manga. Then when no one could tell, the author decided to let the fans discuss it in a ploy to boost Crona's popularity.

@JackieJinxBeast nope crona is nether the authors never actually picked a gender the only reason crona is refereed to as he in the show is because of the default in the English language of always using male terms.
