@2012atra There is no denying of the greatness of Assyrian civilization whose areas straddles some part Kurdistan. I can even add that some cities in Greater Kurdistan were originally Assyrian, and there is no doubt about that. Also Nineveh, is the great capital of Assyria and again no one should ever doubt this reality. However, this music is a modern day composition by Hussien Alizadah from from an album titled Ney Nawa, literally translated as Sound of Ney or Lament of Ney. Check the web.

I am sure that lots of artefacts, monuments attest to the greatness of Assyrian civilization but this particular music is merely modern composition with the name: Ney Nawa. As mentioned it's an album by Hussien Alizadah, famous Persian musician. English translation of the name from Persian: Sound of Ney or Lament of Ney. As for what you've mentioned please send me details of this discovery, it is very interesting and let me know your drink, coz it didn't allow you to read my comment well.

@SikismekAtaturk What have you been smoking, is it legal? Ninawa its been proven by all scholars to be the name of the last Assyrian Empire capital city and its palaces and old structure still exist near the city of Mosul in Iraq until today.

You people must come to reality and accept the history as is stop making history as you wish. you people got the land of the Assyrians, leave their history alone!!!!!

For your info who ever you are, this was part of the discoveries made by the British in Ninawa early 1920s "Ashur Panipal Library" but it was not know to be a musical symphony until the late fifties when a group of German archeologists decoded the tablets and unlocked the symbols to fined it to be the first written symphony from the late period of the Assyrian Empire. Played by Berlin Orchestra
